Blue Eyes Studio is a light filled, colourful and eclectic space where Kathryn Cooke's ideas of the interconnectedness of life are transformed into works of art. Her current work weaves aspects of the natural world together, sometimes incorporating imagery of our human existence.

 

Kathryn graduated from the drawing department at the Alberta College of Art and Design, winning the Governor General Award, in 2014. Her work is thus drawing based however it is also greatly influenced by textiles, both in process and metaphorically. Kathryn's work can be viewed at her working space, Blue Eyes Studio by appointment, at Silver Tree Studio on Mainstreet in Canmore or Carre Des Artist Gallery, in Montreal.
